Neuroscience, genetics
and the tools
to study them

Omega Dynamics is a research project founded by Sylar Robert Jones. Five years of work across non-invasive brain stimulation, genetics and applied physics. What we build gets published, and it can be opened and checked.

E-Field Lab

Pick an electrode montage and see the electric field it induces on the cortex. In the browser, with nothing to install and no account to create.

Behind it is a leadfield computed with SimNIBS on a real head model: all 76 electrodes of the 10-10 system, solved one by one and recombined by linear superposition. Every figure you export states the model, the reference electrode and the electrode geometry it was computed with.

  • Classic montages, HD 4×1, or your own
  • Peak, median and focality over the cortex
  • PNG export for paper figures

Research lines

Non-invasive stimulation

How transcranial current reaches the cortex, where it concentrates, and what stays out of reach. This is the line the M97 Project and the simulation tool come from.

Applied genetics

In silico design of vectors and ion channels, with theoretical validation before anything goes near a wet lab. This is what we published as M97-V.

Ethics and limits

No intervention on a person without an ethics committee and certified health professionals present. That condition comes before everything else, not as an appendix.

M97 Project: Exploring Mind Control with Emerging Technologies

This work suggests that the true potential of non-invasive neuromodulation may be unlocked by leveraging the brain's own intentional processes, opening new opportunities for personalized therapeutic and enhancement technologies.

M97 Project: In Silico Design of a Viral Vector for Targeted Hyper-Activation of the Amygdala (M97-V)

This study presents the in-silico design and the theoretical validation of an Adeno-Associated Viral Vector (M97-V), designed to induce sustained state of hyperactivation in the amygdala through the genetic manipulation of the ASIC1a ionic channels.
